The agency was founded by David Platt in 1988 to better serve the needs of small businesses and families.

Hi! I’m Dave Platt. I have been assisting people like you with their insurance and investment plans in the Salt Lake area for 20 years now. I graduated summa cum laude from Southern Utah University in 1976 with a BS degree in music education. I taught high school band for three years and then went to work in a family owned music store. During this time, I experienced the challenges of providing for my family’s financial security. As president of Platt Insurance Agency, I help families and small businesses meet their financial goals.
